It sounds like they are pulling together the story as much as they can do in nine eppys and it sounds like the Connor family is going to expand again, too.
Finally, a romance for Sarah!

“HUGE spoiler for the return of Terminator the Sarah Connor Chronicles on Feb 13 – from the producers blog on Fox.” [...]

Horoscope so right on the money–its bizarre

Siblings, in-laws or close friends might be the source of a current drama that begs for your involvement. However, if the circumstances are peripheral to you, it may be best to keep them that way. Your worry over something that doesn’t directly concern you could be motivated by your own unresolved issues. It’s best not [...]

Always at Maple Lake though depending if it’s every other year sometimes only for Labour Day weekend or maybe a week when we have big trips (Disneyland, D.C.) in the spring or summer or, like this year, much longer.
I live in a condo, we have a pool which I almost no one [...]

The French OB-GYN treating Angelina Jolie stated today that “everything is normal,” and at the request of Jolie and Brad Pitt, went on to say, “She is very well, and she’s okay. … Brad and Angelina want everyone to know that everything is [...]

Go to Disneyland. I’m serious!
I’ve had a plan to meet up with out-of-state friends at Thanksgiving in California with part of my family’s time spent in the Land of the Mouse. We go every two years. However, my calculations were based on what I was earning at the time I made the decision. Due to [...]

My favourite Post Secret each week tends to be one of the ones that tickles my funny bone.
This week it was not one of the funny ones.
The postcard to Frank that grabbed me most this week was one that hit dead-center home. (Read at left.)
Many years ago I fell in love with a man who [...]

On the way in to Canada there is always construction–but very light traffic on this early June Saturday, crossing from Detroit to Windsor, Ontario.

More trucks than anything and they have to stay to the right.
It’s kinda fun because every time I cross on the Detroit side it’s like an obstacle course and [...]

What to do with them?
From what I can gather many people are not venturing far as it is a party holiday that’s coming about as early as it comes–ever. Some folks don’t even celebrate unless you call gardening or DIY “celebrating.”
Spouse has to go to work 2 of the three days so bummer [...]

All day today, I’ve had a nagging feeling that there was some “occasion” this month of May that I was forgetting. I did a mental check and Mother’s Day popped into my mind. I scratched that. I remembered that May 10 was the anniversary of my first marriage (it was also Mother’s Day that year) [...]

…and I proudly display that fact in bumper sticker form in the place where I spend the most time.
As my son has gone through the grammar school years, I’d see this sticker all around town all the time, mostly stuck to large SUV’s and pricey cars.
I have yet to see a car that a bumper [...]

Post Secret postcard this week~ Special “purge your bad-Mom,”/ bad karma edition.
Warning: Post Secret can be angsty; this week it’s extra angsty.
There were a number of really interesting and provocative cards just in time for Mother’s Day-(every year–pub. on Sundays)!
In this postcard, I especially like the sentiment expressed as, “How much time does forgiveness [...]

…was excellent. I got Godiva chocolates from eldest son, roses and a romantic card from spouse, and from younger son a very funny card and various candles of many scents. All of us went out for dinner together–a rare occurrence and then the best part–what I’m calling”dessert,” we saw Iron Man. We all dug the [...]

Wow.
Last night, just putting together onto a work days off grid for this summer for spouse, factoring in son’s Driver’s Education at the high school for the first half of summer ($350, which is actually less than what I thought the good teachers of this District would work for) and younger son’s monthly blood test [...]

Great news! Spouse finally finished our income taxes last night and we get a refund!
Also, he informed me that the silly Economic Stimulus Act 2008 “rebate” is going to really help towards vacation, as well as reminding me that his work bonus is being distributed in a month. In order of size we have Geo. [...]

Passports: Canadian and American

Today was another beautiful day. My son and I actually did go top-down to <ahem> Costco to meet up with my spouse and have all three of us get our passport photos taken.
They do the shots for the low, low price of $5 each. I was worried that it might be a problem for [...]

Lonesome Day

For some reason I’ve got the lyrics to Lonesome Day floating around in my head.
Baby once I thought I knew
Everything I needed to know about you
Your sweet whisper, your tender touch
I didn’t really know that much
Jokes on me, its gonna be okay
If I can just get through this lonesome day
Lonesome day
I know the lyrics sound [...]

Navigating ice patches at night

This week was odd, maybe because we had a huge shift in the weather–which I’m really hoping does not mean an outbreak of sick–oh, please no more sickness!
But realistically, it’s only barely mid-March. We are a long way-from “home” yet in terms of sickness brought by abrupt seasonal switches from really cold to sunny-with-birds- singing [...]

Eliot Spitzer’s resignation had been widely expected since he said on Monday that he had acted in a way that violated any sense of right or wrong. An FBI investigation has implicated Mr Spitzer in the alleged use of a $1000-an-hour prostitution ring. He has apologised, but without giving details. Married with three teenage daughters, Mr [...]

Why is it that because I work at home that I’m treated like I’m just hangin’ out here at the computer maybe chatting online (which I don’t do, period) or emailing (which I’d like to do but don’t have time for) or I dunno, filing my nails at my work station, which I will admit [...]

This is my *new* laptop’s bag.
I got it for one reason but it seems to be working for me in two three ways.
First, when I realized that the so-called laptop case that the computer came in was too flimsy, I went in search of another but I wasn’t in the mood to really look. OK, [...]

Just took a lovely walk. Temps are up around 30 degrees, the moon through the fluffy clouds is nearly full and has a dream-like quality to it. Then I came home and promptly had a falling out with spouse about younger son missing Scholastic Bowl. Spouse always seems to assume son is guilty and I [...]
