LOST episode 6×06 “Sundown” has been confirmed to be Sayid-centric.
The Island portion according to showrunners Cuse and Lindelof, is a homage to High Noon.
The bad thing coming to the Temple is Smokey/UnLocke who gives the Temple Others an ultimatum: Leave the Temple by sundown …or die.
