Susie tells Corinne that she was going to vote for her at Tribal Council. This upset Corinne greatly. Go figure.

Synopsis: E07 “It All Depends On The Pin-Up Girl,”

Airdate: Oct 30, 2008

“Tensions rise at Fang when one castaway is careless with the tribe’s rice supply. Paranoia prompts one castaway to scramble for an alliance, alienating his tribe in the process. The tribes compete in a cutthroat round of a childhood game in an effort to win a lavish reward. Surprise letters from home bring even the toughest castaways to tears. A shocking twist is revealed that gives one castaway the chance to change the game for the opposing tribe. A nail-biting challenge ensues when the tribes learn that they’ll be battling for individual immunity and will both vote out one of their own at two separate Tribal Councils.”

It’s getting intense in Survivor: Gabon~

The photos above and below are of Matty and Ace talking strategy, specifically as it pertains to Tribal Council. For all their efforts, they were blindsided.

Guess where Sugar got sent again? Her team, Fang lost (shocker) the Reward Challenge: ELEPHANT EGGS, yet again so if you guessed that team Kota sent her to Exile you are right! She has surpassed any other Survivor player in number of times she has been sent to Exile.

To answer the teaser for this episode (above), Crystal accidentally spilled the scarce amount of rice they have left and so insisted on going hungry–then got mad when they didn’t save her any leftovers. <eyeroll>

Dan over on Kota was the one with “paranoia” prompting amateur psychologist Corinne to speculate that “maybe he used to be fat,” and that made him super insecure.

Bob

Bob

I wish they’d spent more time on the letters from home. Both Bob who sobbed on camera, and Dan (who we didn’t see do so) were very emotional, according to Jeff Probst in his EW.com web-column.

The shocking twist that gave “one castaway the chance to change the game for the opposing tribe” was when Individual Immunity winner Marcus was told to assign a second II to a member of the Fang tribe. Marcus “strategically” choose Sugar, in the hopes that the Fang Tribe would be forced to vote out a power player. Fang actually did vote out a power player but not for the reasons one might guess. They felt Ace couldn’t be trusted/was too cocky/ his accent was fake (take your pick) though he hadn’t backstabbed and they could have kept him a bit longer.

Here are a few promo photos from next week. It appears that there is a merge-FINALLY! Click the thumbnail photos to make them bigger.
