Angelina Jolie As Catwoman: “Angelina would own the part”

Aww, this is almost too good to be true but wouldn’t as Miss Julie Newmar, the best Catwoman yet is quoted as saying, Angelina own the part of Catwoman?

Catwoman is an interesting creature and her storyline has meandered all over the screen depending on who is playing her. Appearing first in DC comics as a latex-clad thief with a whip, she has morphed into as Miss Newmar puts it “both a heroine and a villianess.”

Eartha Kitt was very sexy as Catwoman but she was lacking somewhat in personality, Lee Meriwether, a former Miss America, came into the role as teevee censorship was in very high gear. She was safe. Michelle Pfeiffer was sexy-good but she too didn’t bring much personality to the part and Halle Berry was very hot but I don’t think she owned the role, either.

Miss Newmar was on the Batman series and she was seriously sexy and had a great humour to her. I would love to see the still attractive Miss Newmar have a cameo as Catwoman’s mom.

Angelina certainly could own this role. She’s got fierce sexuality, she’s fearless, convincing as a conflicted character and yes, Batman’s most enduring love interest. As much as I loved The Dark Knight, and especially Batman Begins, it would add some high-octane fuel to Batman’s tank and perhaps temper the brooding if he were to have at least one interlude with Catwoman.
