Much more on this website on Terminator: TSCC

Kristin today says:
…In re:… the fate of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, “I’m happy to report that barring any apocalyptic shifts at the Fox network, Terminator is very likely to return in the fall.”
… (The) official word from the network is, “No word yet regarding season two. Fox usually announces returning shows in May around upfronts.” However, in addition to some (information)… saying production is set to resume in mid to late June, star Thomas Dekker told Kristin… that he was feeling pretty good and is “pretty sure” the new season will happen.
(Dekker said that) the producers are currently pitching second-season stories to the network.
(Dekker)… added that fans should “wait until the second season, because some really great stuff is planned—all those questions will be answered!”
This is hopeful news but the FOX network is not trustworthy. One only has to recall another show that Summer Glau was in –”Firefly” and how they completely destroyed then canceled it, to know what could happen to Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
Also, keep in mind that Kristin has been deeply wrong about rumours and innuendo in re: the future of teevee shows many times before. I’m going to remain hopeful but I refuse to be optimistic. When I have some concrete information from a solid source that is itself “sourced” then and only then will I let out a loud whoop and then jump online and let you know here. Fingers crossed.

What piece of advice do you wish you could take?
No one really tries to give me advice because frankly, I think they are afraid to as I used to be a bit more prickly than I am now. Not to say that I don’t have my moments even now, but I am older and at least some of the time, more mellow.
So the piece of advice that I think I would be given would be to mellow out, to chill, to not take things so seriously, to slow down, to take a breath.
And yes, as stated in the question, I really wish I could do those things though I’m not sure I’d be happier because I’m no longer sure that all those things lead to the kind of happiness that I’m seeking.
More and more, I hear people dole out advice like it’s a one size fits all society. Frankly, I find that annoying. I think I’m competitive, driven, high strung, emotional. It is who I am at my core. I can’t very well chuck (part of) the essence of me without chucking part of my fabric. I’m not willing to do that. Perhaps people who know me don’t dole out the advice because they know this, too.
