Each morning I wake up and do the following, let the dog out, make myself a mug of coffee and begin my day. Coffee is an integral part of each new day. The phrase “elixer of the gods” often comes to mind as I relish each sip. My gourmet coffee is fantastic, day in and day out and I never tire of it.
The people at the Carolina Coffee Company feel the same way as they go the extra mile by obtaining premium hand picked arabica beans of the highest quality in the world.
Why not visit the Owens Family’s Carolina Coffee Company website and have a look at and read about their high-quality hand roasted coffees and great gift baskets that include gourmet coffees with specialty blends, certified fair trade organic coffees, swiss water decaf coffees, and coffee from the Owens Family Roast Signature Series paired up with unique and fun items, ready to give as thoughtful gifts?

Just took a lovely walk. Temps are up around 30 degrees, the moon through the fluffy clouds is nearly full and has a dream-like quality to it. Then I came home and promptly had a falling out with spouse about younger son missing Scholastic Bowl. Spouse always seems to assume son is guilty and I always jump to son’s defense and it’s not a happy experience for anyone. Now that I’ve observed son’s reaction it seems that he is trying to smooth things over (spouse and I had the crux of the convo whilst son showered). So I guess we should pillory him for just be barely recovered from the flu and not feeling up for a brain draining competition right away?

A police officer was killed Friday morning in a motorcycle accident as Sen. Hillary Clinton’s motorcade made its way through downtown Dallas, police said.
The Dallas Police Department said Senior Cpl. Victor Lozada-Tirado was traveling southbound on the Houston Street viaduct when he struck a curb, lost control of the motorcycle and went down.
Hillary’s visit to Dallas means great sadness for quite a number of people. Look at the rank of this officer: Senior Cpl.– and he had four kids.
I wasn’t gong to talk about this but I want to use this as yet another example of ‘why’ our candidates in-this era of mass media that allows your message to be sent out to the people immediately–why our presidential candidiates should have months–not years to campaign actively. Sure, Senior Cpl. Victor Lozada-Tirado might have died assisting Hillary in those few months–but certainly the chances are reduced by a hefty percentage. Does she have the blood of this officer on her hands? No more than the rest of us that continue to allow the political campaign process to spiral deeper into the muck.
