Some folks I know do blogging for pay.
I sometimes do, too.
At best, it’s very part time earnings which I’m allowed to make though I receive a small disability check due to early onset heart failure.
After several years went by and I improved from a very sad state to a state of “maintenance,” I wanted to find some type of work to do from home. The reason was two-fold. I’m very aware of how short our time is here and I wanted to be home each day when my youngest son came home from school as well as having summers and holidays off.
The second reason was much more hardcore realistic. I take a number of medications and the side effects put me in a state of constant nasal drip, frequent bathroom trips, occasional dizziness and/or severe tiredness. Oh, and my sleep schedule is upside down–but I can sleep unmedicated–unlike the first few years when I tried to force myself into a traditional sleeping pattern by taking a prescription pill each night.
So the blogging for pay thing is a good enough for now gig. I maintain good content on my blog so I don’t feel the need to apologize, rather this is simply to explain.
Peace
C.
